Dear members and friends of the African Law Association,
We are very happy to present our first newsletter to you! It contains information that we consider relevant for people interested in law in Africa. The newsletter is also available on www.lawinafrica.org. There will be a publication every four months, with additional publications should the need arise (e.g. to call for papers for conferences)
The information contained in these newsletters has two sources: the research of the ALA-Newsletter team and – more importantly - the information that YOU as the community interested in law in Africa have sent to us for distribution. By doing this, we hope to create a network that is lively and up to date.
We also encourage you to initiate discussions on the internet forum on lawinafrica.org. Once such a discussion has started we will inform you immediately.
